Dessie Teff is a high-yielding warm-season annual forage grass variety developed to deliver excellent forage production and quality without the risks commonly associated with other summer annual grasses, such as prussic acid or nitrate buildup.

Planting & Maintenance Guidelines:

• Planting Time: After the risk of frost has passed (typically late May–late July); requires warm soils for germination

• Seeding Rate: 8–12 lbs./acre (coated seed)

• Planting Method: Broadcast or drill into a firm seedbed

• Seeding Depth: ⅛–¼ inch

• Emergence: 3–6 days under optimal conditions
